RIYL: Hip hop and R&B. DJ Fife Spins mostly new music but also, some old-school songs among the hip-hop and R&B community. A few of his favorite R&B artists include Usher, Common, Ne-Yo, Corinne Bailey Rae and old-school artists.

Influences

DJ Fife says that growing up, his first favorite DJ was Funk Master Flex. Later, he was influenced by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the late great Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. Some other influences include: Jay-Z, Biggie, Little Brother, Kanye West and Common. The DJ is a self-proclaimed "Swizz Beats man." He was also influenced by East Coast rappers and and those from the MidWest, too.
