East Palestine Fourth of July Celebration

The East Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a fireworks display Saturday at the city park. The program is scheduled to start after dusk. Other activities include lineup for the East Palestine Alumni Breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Community Center, pet parade at 10 a.m., bike parade at 12:30 p.m., games for all ages at 2 p.m., Duck Derby at 4 p.m., basketball free-throw contest at 5:15 p.m., music at the gazebo at 5:30 p.m., and a movie at the gazebo at 7:30 p.m.
Columbiana: Independence Day family activities will be at Firestone Park throughout the day Friday. Canfield Community Band will perform at 7 p.m. and fireworks will be at 10 p.m.
