Long Description: The Main Library will host the “America’s Music: A Film History of Our Popular Music from Blues to Bluegrass to Broadway” documentary film series to enlighten audiences about uniquely American musical genres. Dr. Kenneth J. Bindas, Professor and Chair of the Department of History at Kent State University, will provide an introduction to each session and then lead an open discussion following each film.
