Long Description: For years, James Renner worked as a journalist in Cleveland, hunting serial killers. When real life became too dangerous, he began writing mystery novels. Renner will talk about his experience uncovering real killers and how it inspires his fiction today. Renner's true-crime writing has won several awards for journalism and was featured in the “Best American Crime Reporting” anthology. His mystery books have been published in over a dozen languages. His debut novel, “The Man from Primrose Lane,” is being developed for television. Free admission; no reservations required.
