YOUNGSTOWN – Gil Mantera’s Party Dream has announced a 2008 Western Brotherhood Tour.
The tour follows their November and December 2007 East Coast "Leviathan Tour."
Unlike the Leviathan Tour, the Western Brotherhood Tour includes a Youngstown performance. It's been about a year-and-a-half since the brothers graced a Youngstown stage. Gil Mantera’s Party Dream , signed to Audio Eagle, is scheduled to appear at Cedars Lounge on April 4. Fat Possum Records is handling distribution of "Bloodsongs," the duo's latest album. (Fat Possum also works with fellow Northeast Ohio act The Black Keys.)
Gil Mantera will also be in the studio recording Feb. 8 - 16 in New York, with a potential single on vinyl from the recording.
They also released a DVD of Chicago shows in 2004 and 2006 Dec. 4.
If you haven't seen Gil Mantera’s Party Dream live before, be prepared for unapologetic dance music accompanied by various amounts of nudity with over-the-top stage antics.
