6 — Get ready to laugh your ass off. The Limbs, Weird Paul and ‘85 Flood are at Cedars.

6 — Show your support for Youngstown’s latest hero with DaBoondox Rhymin’ in the Ring part 2 at Barleys on the eve of Kelly Pavlik’s first title defense.

8 — Strap on your dancing shoes kids! Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s comin’ to the Cleveland House of Blues.

10 — Tom Petty + 3AP party bus = a not-to-be-missed show at Post Gazette Pavilion in Pittsburgh.

10 — How much fun is this? The US Air Guitar Championships’ Pittsburgh Regional competition with special guest Tragedy: A Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh. The winner goes to the finals in San Francisco!

12 — According to Wikipedia, Iron Maiden was ranked #24 in VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.” Go see them at Blossom Music Center.

13 — Party on the Plaza goes completely original, and local, with Acoustic Juggernaut and Via Sahara.

13 — The Grog Shop presents: Death Cab For Cutie with Rogue Wave at The Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland.

14 — “Day 11” is here. Tilt 360 CD release party at The Cellar.

14 — Conservatives get in line... Glenn Beck is at Akron’s EJ Thomas Hall.

15 — Country legends Brooks & Dunn, with special guest Rodney Atkins, are at Blossom.

17 — Not too much more sitting or waiting, Jack Johnson at Blossom.

20 — No one can throw a party like these guys: MAynstream’s Hip-hop for Hip-hop Heads IV at Barleys.

20 — Celebrate the first weekend of summer at the Furthermind pre-party with Jeff Perigo and The House of Commons, Capital Road and Adam Jacobs at Royal Oaks. Follow it up with the FurtherMind Music Festival on the 21st at the B&O Station.

21 — Kickoff the summer in style with a full Caribbean menu, tropical drinks and sand at Youngstown Crab Company.
