This year, there’s a new haunt in town.
Mike Dilisio, creator of Nocturnal Terror Productions, said his project, located in Roosevelt Park in Campbell, will give people a different experience.
Dilisio said he’s been to haunted houses in this area, but says his make-up, props and sets are life-like.
“We’re going for a more ‘Hollywood’ style,” Dilisio said. “We’re trying to give people a good, quality show.”
The haunted house industry, like many, has advanced technologically in the past 20 years, and Dilisio said he wanted to mix his interest in art with his interest in technology.
“This is another avenue, another way to be creative,” Dilisio said.
The 2-in-1 haunt features eight unique areas and a chain link fence maze. Dilisio, who has been working on the haunted house since December, designed and constructed most of the props himself, he said.
His haunted house includes not only characters chasing patrons with chainsaws, but interactive, storytelling characters as well.
“I want to give people an intimate experience,” Dilisio said. “It will be a quality show unlike anything they’ve seen in this area.”
Nocturnal Terror is associated with the Campbell City Fest committee, and Dilisio said a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the committee.
