Tourette syndrome is focus of book group

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host a book discussion group at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Quaker Room. “Icy Sparks,” by Gwyn Hyman Rubio, will be the topic.

The novel follows a young girl with Tourette syndrome in 1950s Appalachia.

The discussion is free and no registration is required. The book can be borrowed from the library’s adult services department. For information, call 330-332-0042.
