‘Road Meat’ resurfaces

The comic-slasher film “Road Meat,&#8221 was shot in Youngstown and Columbus by Brad Black and Bill Bragg of Columbus. The low-budget film was never distributed and faded into obcurity until its recent discovery by a New York film curator, who screened it in that city. The Ohio premiere will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the Lemon Grove, on the second floor of the Knox Building, 110 W. Federal St., downtown Youngstown (enter through The Federal bar and restaurant). Admission is $10 with proceeds benefiting the Mahoning Valley Players theater group, which is best known for the Shakespeare in the Park productions each summer at Morley Pavilion. The director and lead actors of the film will attend and answer questions after the screening.
