Kansas will return to Stambaugh Auditorium at 8 p.m. Wednesday for a concert that will include the band’s classic hits.

The band last played Youngstown in 2016.
Over a career spanning more than four decades, Kansas has released 15 studio albums and five live albums.
The act has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums (“Leftoverture,” “Point of Know Return” and “Best of Kansas”), one platinum live album (“Two for the Show”), and two one million-selling gold singles: “‘Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind.”
Hailing from Topeka, Kan., the band released its debut album in 1974 and then went on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide.
Kansas appeared on the Billboard charts for more than 200 weeks throughout the ’70s and ’80s.
The band is currently comprised of keyboardist Tom Brislin, original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale, guitarist Zak Rizvi, and original guitarist Richard Williams.
