Quinlan's is a locally owned establishment. It has a party room and a smoking porch. They have live Irish music every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:30pm, and other music on the weekends. It's a nice, family friendly place, with good food and quick service.

I have to share my experience. We went to Quinlans with a coupon for a free appetizor with two entree's or sandwiches. My husband ordered an entree and even said that he wanted this one for the coupon, and then we ordered a second a little cheaper. They could have said that the cheaper of the two would be the only one covered, but said nothing. Also, Thursday nights mixed drinks were supposed to be only $3. So we get the bill and my two strawberry daquirys were $8.50! We asked and she said she over road the price and that strawberry daquiries where not considered a mixed drink. SO, we were very unhappy when we got the bill that she charged us for the more expensive appetizor and our problems with the drink prices. If this was how they were going to charge us they should of told us before filling our order. So, we were very unhappy with the service and a very very unpleasant experience. Not to mention that the ribs were terrible. So, we left a one dollar tip. More than my husband thought they deserved. Non-the-less, we went out to the car and the owner comes outside cussing at us that we only left the waitress a dollar, and told us to "keep our fucking dollar". She claimed that everyone knows that with a coupon you only get the cheaper of two appetizors. Well, we didnt know and they couldve told us before we ordered the second. AND the coupon did not say this either. I told her that if she treats all her customers this way, that would explain why all the other restaurants are packed right in that area, and hers is empty. VERY VERY poor treatment to customers, horrible food, and the bill surprises you,and God forbid you dont leave her a good tip! She will chase you to your car and cuss you out! I am only sharing my experience and in my opinion, I dont know why anyone would ever eat there!

people and service ok. but the food has alot to desire. tried the wing special 40 wings and 4 beers only $15. got 40 breaded wings, that were not cooked crisp, like we ordered,(how can you cook something breaded and it not come out crisp?)and then when they put the sauces on, it only made them soggy. nnaaaaaassssssttttteeeee .
if they were free i would not get them again. IN QUINLINS DEFENSE I DID NOT TRY THE IRISH FOOD. YA KNOW WHAT THEY SAY, YA DON'T ORDER STEAK AT A SEAFOOD RESTRAUNT AND VISA-VERSA. they have some nice steak specials on tuesday. someone oughta try them and get back to us.

well, everyone DOES kinda know that with BOGO the cheaper of the two is free. same goes for grocery stores or anywhere else. and there IS a difference between mixed drinks and say, margaritas and daquiris. something that comes in a glass bigger than your forearm is not a mixed drink. but judging by the grammar (non-the-less???) this couple must not get out much?

but i must say that there is a reason why Quinlan's split off from the O'Donolds brand ... neither are very good Irish food, and both are overpriced, but O'Donold's (austintown) seems to have a better handle on marketing and such.

in closing, "appetizor" sounds like some kind of monster that stomps around town and kills you with ranch dressing.

YEAH NORTH SIDE GIRL. AND "O'DONOLDS" SOUNDS LIKE A PLACE GUYS OVER 50 WITH THE FIRST NAME DON HANG OUT AT. IF I AM IN ODONALD'S HOW WOULD I RECOGNIZE YOU. I THINK THAT'S THE PLACE THAT SERVES THEIR WINGS WITH A PUDDLE OF OIL IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BASKET AND USES SEASONINGS ALL SOOOOO SPARINGLY.
