thats too bad you wont come because nlqp is hands down a better venue than a street in youngstown. we would've had the first jonesfest there if we had the opportunity and we feel very fortunate to be able to have it at a place like that instead of in a street where most people only came because it was free. Many people didnt and still dont even know that its our festival anyway and unfortunately for them its kind of our party so we'll throw it wherever we want. Also, no one seems to realize that we put 3 months of hard work into these events and we work for FREE. Gets old real quick when no one shows appreciation and instead 95% of people bitch up a storm even though they are lucky that there are people who even want to waste their time with these sorts of things. we care about music mainly and so does the ledges thats why we're having it there. plus you can swim and camp so instead of it being over when its over, the party gets more interesting when the bands are done and people have all night to hang out with their friends. hope this helps you understand why

Jones, you boys could hold this venue on the sun, and I would be there...fryin like a chicken wing...haha, its sad that some people limit themselves to this area, and when a band such as Jones has an opportunity to HOST their show at NLQP, your fans should be right there to support it. It just goes to show who your TRUE fans are...they will be there. :-)

This has nothing to do with being a "real fan" or not, or "limiting" oneself to the area.
I'm originally from Cleveland, and have been to dozens of venues for shows, including Nelsons Ledges. I have no interest in ever going there again - I'm past the hippie stage of my life.
I hope the show goes over well, and you guys have a great turnout of your "real fans" or otherwise.
I'm simply saddened you arent' having the show downtown, as I attended last year, had a good time, and was looking forward to attending again.
As an aside, Lethal_FX, lose the snot-nose attitude. You come off as rude and crass, and I'm sure that's not the image you'd like to portray.
