Beastie Boys, Ben Harper, Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones

The Beastie Boys, via their- e-mail list, have announced that they will come to town on Wednesday, Oct. 28 for a show as part of the "Get Out and Vote '08" tour. The night will also include performances by Ben Harper, Norah Jones and Sheryl Crow. Tickets are available from
livenation.com under "Vote for Change" and on
ticketmaster.com under "Get Out and Vote '08". According to Live Nation, tickets for the event will go on sale Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. According to Ticketmaster, tickets for the show will go on sale Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. The tour has its own Web site,
http://www.getoutandvote08.org, but only has a poster available for sharing on MySpace and Facebook. We will bring you details as soon as we find out more.

the presale code is 'vote'
i got my tickets! in exchange for the presale, i had to pay fees that i wouldnt have had i gone to the chev box office, but i guess the six bucks per ticket is in exchange for making sure im up front. even though i got floor general admin, which is closer than seats but probably wont sell out quickly. eh.
when i got into journalism, i thought that meant free concert tickets. who knew?
